RS232 to USB converter

Dear members,

I would like to draw your attention to a device that came onto the market and might be usefull to some of you. It allows you to convert easily any RS232 interface into an USB one by simply replacing the DB9 conncector with the one offered by FDTI. Follow the link attached:

Thank you very much for this subject I will see if I can find the FT232R IC to build my own module, I hope that other memebrs will wake up and participate !
By the way I would like to inform you that the IC you gave me (74HC541) I replaced the KAPPUT one and the equipment works fine! Danke shön M. Stefan!
